Camp John Hay, Baguio City
If Baguio has a soul, a big part of it lives inside Camp John Hay. Towering pine trees, cool mountain air, winding forest roads, and some of the best cafés in the city — it’s the kind of place you go for a quick visit and end up staying for hours.
What Is Camp John Hay?
Camp John Hay is a former US military rest and recreation facility that has been transformed into a world-class leisure destination. Spanning over 600 hectares in the heart of Baguio City, it’s home to a golf course, forest trails, restaurants, cafés, shops, and open spaces that feel a world away from the city noise just outside its gates.
It’s one of the most visited spots in Baguio — and one of the most underexplored, because most people only see the main entrance area.
